Some Enchanted Evening: James Paul Sings the Music of Richard Rodgers

Saturday, April 18th, 7:30 PM

Nashville Jazz Workshop

The Nashville Jazz Workshop welcomes Nashville vocalist Jaimee Paul for a special evening celebrating the timeless songs of legendary composer Richard Rodgers.

A recording artist with Green Hill Music, Paul is known for her warm tone, expressive phrasing, and deep connection to the Great American Songbook. Her debut jazz album At Last reached No. 1 on the iTunes Jazz chart, and she has built a wide ranging career as both a jazz artist and a sought after studio and touring vocalist.

For this program, Paul explores the remarkable catalog of Richard Rodgers, whose unforgettable melodies helped shape the golden age of American songwriting. From Broadway classics to beloved jazz standards, Rodgers’ songs combine lyrical beauty, emotional depth, and musical sophistication that continue to inspire performers and audiences alike.

Joined by a stellar Nashville rhythm section, Paul brings elegance, swing, and storytelling to these enduring songs in the intimate listening room at the Nashville Jazz Workshop. Join us for an evening of classic melodies, fresh interpretations, and the enduring brilliance of Richard Rodgers.
