Kevin Gastonguay is a keyboardist, composer, producer, and internationally touring musician based in Nashville, Tennessee. He is best known as the keyboardist for acclaimed guitarist and bandleader Cory Wong.
Over the past two decades, Kevin has performed around the world across six continents and more than 30 countries. His appearances include renowned venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre, The Gorge Amphitheatre, and Hollywood Bowl, as well as major festivals including Montreux Jazz Festival, Newport Jazz Festival, Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival, and Telluride Jazz Festival.
Originally from Minneapolis, Kevin came up through the city's storied music scene, honing his craft with a wide range of jazz, funk, and R&B artists. His work alongside veterans of the Minneapolis Sound led to a longtime role with Dr. Mambo's Combo, where he shared the stage weekly with Prince alumni Michael Bland and Sonny Thompson.
As a solo artist, Kevin has released three instrumental studio albums, most recently Last Place Dreamer (2022), showcasing his strengths as a composer, arranger, and producer. His music is distinguished by a rich palette of vintage and modern keyboards, which feature prominently throughout his recordings. As a composer, he has also created music for advertising campaigns for companies including Walmart, Rocket Mortgage, Ford, and Cleveland Clinic.
Kevin continues to expand his creative reach through commercial composition, remote recording from his home studio, collaborations with artists and bands, and international touring.
