This intermediate to advanced ensemble is open to all instrumentalists. Students will cover more advanced concepts of literature, including intros, endings, styles, tempos and comping.

*All ensembles will have the opportunity to perform in the Jazz Cave during their 6th session.

About the instructor:

Stephan Wieder holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Guitar from Belmont University, where he also taught the university’s Intro to Guitar course. He has extensive experience performing both locally and around the country with different artists. 

In addition to performing, Stephan enjoys working with students of all ages, helping them build their skills, confidence, and love for music. At the Nashville Jazz Workshop, he’s excited to help students explore improvisation, develop their musical voice, and connect with the jazz tradition.
