The second installment of Residency, In Pieces strips things down to the most intimate and demanding format in jazz: the piano trio. Jon Cowherd is joined by bassist Paul Bryan and drummer Marlon Patton for an evening of original compositions.

Jon Cowherd has spent decades at the center of some of the most significant music being made in jazz. As a founding member of Brian Blade and the Fellowship Band, he helped build one of the genre's most celebrated ensembles, recording and performing alongside artists including Joni Mitchell, Norah Jones, John Scofield, Cassandra Wilson, Brandi Carlile, and Lizz Wright. He also happens to live here in Nashville.

The Jazz Cave holds 74 people. There is no bad seat and nowhere to hide. That's the point.
