Rahsaan Barber Quintet with special guest, guitarist Keith Ganz - Eternal Album Release Concert

Join native Nashvillian and Associate Professor of Saxophone and Jazz Studies at UNC Chapel Hill, Rahsaan Barber, as he returns home to celebrate the national release of his latest album, Eternal, with a concert featuring special guest and 2x Grammy nominated guitarist Keith Ganz.

Ganz has performed with Harry Connick, Jr., Kurt Elling, Kate McGarry, Take 6 and more! In addition to the legendary guitarist, Rahsaan will be joined onstage by three of the finest musicians with ties to Nashville - pianist Matt Endahl, bassist Brian Allen, and drummer Joshua Hunt. The band will perform original compositions and arrangements from Eternal, the sixth recording (as bandleader) by the saxophonist, which will be released on his own label, Jazz Music City, on October 9, 2026. (CD Copies of the album will be available for sale at the show.)

As part of the release, Rahsaan will host an open rehearsal from 3-4:30, a Q&A about his new work from 4:30-5, and a 5pm soundcheck, all open to the public! Please join us at NJW for a great afternoon of insight into Rahsaan's creative process and vision.
