Meghan Shanley: The Soundtrack of Us
Saturday, December 12, 2026, 7:30 PM
Nashville Jazz Workshop
Every life has a soundtrack. On Saturday, December 12, Nashville singer, songwriter, and author Meghan Shanley brings the debut of her new show, The Soundtrack of Us, to the Jazz Cave, with Bryce Lyublanovits on keys, Zach Friedman on bass, and Dylan Verge on drums.
Part concert and part shared experience, The Soundtrack of Us is about the songs that shape who we are. Meghan weaves timeless songs of love, loss, motivation, and social impact together with stories and some remarkable insights into how music works on us: how it shapes memory and emotion, helps us heal, connects us to each other, and even affects the body. Along the way you'll laugh, remember, and maybe find out why one particular song has stuck with you all these years. And since it's December, expect a few Christmas tunes in the mix.
The audience helps write the show. When you reserve your tickets, you're invited to share a song that made an impact on your life and the story behind it. Meghan will choose two submissions to feature from the stage, so no two performances are ever the same, and you may just hear your song become part of the night.
Meghan's powerful voice blends jazz, soul, pop, and cabaret into a style all her own. A former Miss Virginia, she moved to Nashville to pursue music and has performed at the Ryman Auditorium and on multiple national television broadcasts. She recorded the album Ready for Love, wrote the children's book Vincent Plays His Part, and currently stars in Shiners, Nashville's hit live production that blends acrobatics, comedy, and music. At the heart of everything she does is a simple belief: music has the power to change us.
Join us at the Nashville Jazz Workshop for a one-of-a-kind evening in our 74-seat listening room.
