Jefferson St. Jazz & Blues Fest
J.U.M.P. (Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership) announces the 17th Annual Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival, showcasing jazz & blues and celebrating the musical heritage of Jefferson Street.
This year’s event kicks off Friday June 16, with a “Bridging the Gap” Mixer on 5TH AVE N., BETWEEN KOREAN VETERANS BLVD. & DEMONBREUN
The Festival itself is Saturday, June 17, and takes place at the Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park. Headliners of the festival are Rose Royce, the R&B band, best known for hits from soundtrack album to the 1976 hit comedy Car Wash and the soulful singer-songwriter, Shirley Murdock.
