The NJW relies on support from individuals as well as companies, foundations, and government. Income from tuition and event fees is only the beginning. To keep classes small, tuition and fees low, and provide special programs for the community, we need additional support from you.
If you're a student or jazz fan and have benefited directly from the Workshop, you can show your appreciation by making a contribution.
Contributing is also a great way to support the Arts and the way jazz strengthens the cultural life of the community.

2008 Contribution Opportunities
After consideration by the Board & fundraising committee, the Nashville Jazz Workshop has taken an important step and purchased a 7' Steinway, the "Rolls Royce" of pianos. We want you to be a Key Player in supporting this project. You ask WHAT?? WHY??? Well, here are the facts:
* For seven years we've rented the Steinway that's been on stage. That piano could be sold at any time and the rental money for the piano is going out the door.
* Through connections of Roger & Lori, we were offered the chance to purchase a 7' Steinway at 35% off of the retail price. Pianos like this seldom come along.
* The Jazz Workshop is growing, expanding and bringing in more world class artists. We already have a world class venue. Now we have a world class piano.
We believe that our community will be Key Players in making this dream a reality. We are "selling" every key for $361.36 to pay off a short term bank loan secured to take advantage of this great opportunity. As a supporter you can donate a note, a chord, or a whole octave if you are so moved. To make a contribution, send us an email and a staff member will contact you about which notes are available. More Jazz, More People, More Places
This is the focus of our Annual Campaign in May. The Board has decided that a major focus this year will be to have more classes, serve more students, and build bridges to more partners in the community. Operating funds will be needed to support this.
