The NJW Listening Library
Learning jazz begins with listening. The NJW has what may be the largest collection of jazz CD's in the Southeast. This comes in large part from a generous donation by Mark & Linda Edwards. The collection spans the history of jazz, with a major focus on the bebop and post-bop periods. NJW also has a large collection of vinyl records, DVD's, and books. Library materials can be used during hours the workshop is open. The library now has its own space, complete with listening stations and a catalog. The library is open most Sunday afternoons from 2 to 5 pm. |
