J.U.M.P. (Jefferson Street United Merchants Partnership) announces the 2011 Jefferson Street Jazz & Blues Festival, showcasing jazz & blues and celebrating the musical heritage of Jefferson Street. The event kicks off Friday June 17, with the Bridging the Gap Mixer on the Shelby Street Pedestrian Bridge. The Festival itself is Saturday, June 18, and is free and open to the public. The festival has a new location this year: the beautiful Bicentennial Capital Mall State Park.
