For our next Snap on 2&4 Concert event, NJW welcomes pianist/vocalist/composer Chris Walters to the Jazz Cave on Friday, June 22. 

Hot off the heels of his latest CD Release, entitled "Yay, Everybody Yay!" Walters is returning to the cave to the delight of fans of his relaxed singing style, brilliant piano playing, and fresh and inventive compositions. One of Nashville's most in-demand sidemen across multiple genres, as a frontman Walters has a completely unique and compelling sound. 

The Nashville Scene's Jack Silverman writes, "Pianist and singer Chris Walters' Yay! Everybody Yay! is one of the most enchanting albums to cross my desk in some time ... Walters released a strong solo effort in 2007 titled Cool Blue Swing. The band for this show will include some of Nashville's finest: Barry Green (trombone), Matt White (trumpet), Denis Solee (sax, flute), Roger Spencer (bass), and Jim White (drums).
