NJW Summer Jazz Camp
Nashville Jazz Workshop
1319 Adams Street
9:30am - 4:30pm daily
The NJW Summer Jazz Camp is for students ages 14-19, and is suitable for all instruments and vocalists. The camp, led by saxophonist Evan Cobb, will feature ensembles, masterclasses, ear-training, repertoire building, music theory, jam sessions and more! Students will have the opportunity to play, learn, and have a great time all while preparing for an end-of-camp concert on June 21. Auditions for this camp are Saturday, May 11th. We will be carefully filling the spots of just three ensembles, so space is limited and determined by instrument.
Update! The Nashville Jazz Workshop 5-Day Summer Camp had a great day hearing talented student auditions and is nearly filled to capacity! There are just a few spots remaining for qualified students: 2 spots for bass, 3 for guitar, 1 for drums. Call us today at 242-5299.
(The Nashville Jazz Workshop 3-Day Introductory Camp is still accepting sign-ups for all instruments until spaces are filled, first-come first-serve.)
Tuition for the 5-day camp is $325. (optional fees: lunches, $50; private lesson, $30)
For students with financial need, full or partial scholarship funds are available. Contact the Jazz Workshop for more information, and download the scholarship application here.
