Live jazz music takes center stage at Murfreesboro’s annual Main Street Jazz Fest May 4 and 5, 2012 with some of the area's best jazz all-stars including Denny Jiosa, Rahsaan Barber & Everyday Magic, Connye Florance, the MTSU Jazz Ensemble, and the 129th US Army Jazz Ensemble.

Now in its 16th year, the two-day JazzFest attracts more than 15,000 people and features the music of area jazz bands and ensembles on two stages.  The event is held on Murfreesboro’s historic square, and admission is free. Musicians play Friday evening and all day Saturday. In addition to the featured performers, the festival includes more than a dozen middle and high school bands.
